You know what, it's hard to post when you feel like you're alone in knitting blogland. I've read so many AWESOME blogs and I really don't have much to say, so it's hard to stay motivated and blog. It doesn't help that I'm not in the best of moods today. Oh well...
So here's an update....
My Secret Pal got me the most incredible gift of Cherry Tree Hill yarn which I've NEVER experienced before. Wow! That stuff is awesome. I am in the process of making Glampyre's Minisweater with it. I love the way it looks so far. Sorry, no pictures- batteries are dead. :(
I also received some candles, a book- Meditations for women who knit too much. :) A bee measuring tape- too cute for words!!!
Thank you secret pal! You truly rock!!
Other news, as some of you know, it's my first year teaching. The kids in my class are so awesome. I got 3 balloons grams from my kids with notes saying that I'm the best teacher (I know I'm their first teacher- but this kid moved so he does have something to compare it too) and another saying "Thanks for being a huge help" to their child. I got more gifts for Valentines than I did for Christmas- who knew?!
We concluded our Ladybug unit. I actually had a kiddo try to sneak some (6!!) ladybugs home. He wanted to show his dad. Isn't that just precious?!
I did get the new yarn for "Branching Out" from Elsebeth Lavold in Moss. Just got it today. Soo pretty! Can't wait to get started on it. Must finish Minisweater first.
